We struggled through some difficult passages in this session. Beginning in Exodus 17, we were led to Psalm 95, Hebrews 3 and Numbers 14. We addressed the sworn oath of God that those (the overwhelming majority of Israel’s adult population) who rebelled in the wilderness would not enter God’s rest in the promised land, and tried to discern what instruction the Lord has for us today from their example.
